I have been meaning to make pizza  using the tips I learned on the pizza tour I went on while in NYC last October.

This was my first time working with yeast and it wasn't as scary as I imagined which explains why it took me so many months to finally tackle it.

Everything was fresh (pizza dough from Baking Illustrated, whole milk mozzarella, and basil) with the exception of the pizza sauce.  Due to lack of time, I cracked open a jar of pizza sauce instead of making my own.  I will definitely be making my own the next time around.  Also, I made this without a pizza stone but I am adding that to my top priority list as I can't wait to make more pizza!
