I made a humble little cross just like this several years ago with the verse from Luke 2:11 {A Savior has been born to you} and each year lay it atop a Christmas cake to remind us why Jesus was born.
This Easter, I made some more for little hands to hold as they learn what Jesus Christ did for us.~*~We gathered sticks from the back yard looking for ones that had some straight sections that I could cut into about 4.5-inches x 2.5-inches.I secured the pieces together using a length of dental floss and finished with a square knot in the back.A printed Bible verse, trimmed and punched with a hole was then tied to the cross.
